SOUTHERN AFRICA RAILWAY SYSTEM

Railnet is also in the development and planning stages of a railway system that will interconnect several SADC (Southern Africa Development Community) nations including Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Namibia and others.

The Southern Africa Rail System will create thousands of jobs and significantly increase the GDP and other economic status of each country it passes through. It will greatly facilitate inter-regional trade or trading not among the west African countries only, but to the entire world. In addition to the railway system other infrastructure systems will also be implemented or improved.

Because of trade facilitation the proposed rail system will create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and economic development at a rate the region has never experienced.

JOBS

The proposed rail system will allow the increase in industries in all segments including mining, agriculture, manufacturing, and more. Thousands of jobs starting with entry level positions to skilled labor positions, will be created. This major industrialization will have an effect on the region that has never before been possible.

TRADE FACILITATION

The system will enable goods to be transported by multi-modal solutions from destinations in each member state in the manner that has never been possible. Simply put the new rail system will allow trade across borders to be cheaper, faster, and more predictable, while ensuring the safety and security of the goods.

INFRASTRUCTURE

In addition to upgraded and newly constructed railway infrastructures,  Railnet International will also work to develop accompanying infrastructure along rail routes including but not limited to communications, power, and water.
